NoPA embraces the ‘hip’ culture of one of the City’s most sought after neighborhoods. – Surrounded by Golden Gate Park, and the Divisadero Corridor there is always a trendy restaurant to enjoy, an art opening or art faire, cool music at The Independent, and so much more. Living in NoPa is a unique lifestyle and extremely desirable. This vintage ‘cool’ Edwardian three bedroom, 1.5 baths with 2 car parking, a sun-filled outdoor deeded deck, and a generous yard embraces the period architecture with modern open floor plan in the kitchen. The kitchen features new Bertazonni appliances, marble counter tops, hardwood floors, sliding glass doors open to the large deck and separate laundry room. We met Linda at a showing for a property we idly walked into, knowing next to nothing about purchasing. After making a comically low verbal offer, Linda responded with an offer to take us under her wing — and proceeded to ‘teach us the ropes’ about home buying in general and in the Bay Area in particular. Like all realtors she’s incredibly responsive, knows the process back to front, has access to a good number of off-market and coming-soon properties, and learns her clients needs. Unlike pretty much every other realtor we dabbled with before her, she seems to be a bit of a living legend — literally every seller’s agent we spoke to was visually impressed when they heard we were working with her, and all said something to the effect of ‘oh, she’s a legend.’

We got the second place we offered on, and at a surprisingly good price too. Linda got us in with a very senior person at FRB, who helped us secure the Google discount and was themselves highly responsive in the process. She also knows almost everybody in town who do inspections, contracting work, permitting nuances, you name it. We’re still in contract closing and Linda already found us trusted contractors to help do some prep work, and we’ll be getting a quote shortly.

What’s more she did an impressive job playing ‘Switzerland’ to my wife and my sometimes divergent tastes throughout the process, and knew how to modulate the flow of showing as our collective emotional bandwidth. Given some of the houses she’s sold on her website, it’s somewhat surprising she even decided to work with us, but we couldn’t recommend Linda highly enough. If you choose to interview her, tell her we say hi!”
